Choo Yut Shing took this amazing photo of a truly awesome snake lantern slithering down a street in Singapore City’s Chinatown district as part of Chinese New Year celebrations. The beautiful lantern was actually made up of 850 individual yellow sky lanterns and spanned a spectacular length of 300 metres (nearly 985 feet) “from the junction of Upper Cross Street and South Bridge Road to Sago Street.”

Yanno how you go someplace, see something you like, pull out the camera, set up your shot, look at your shot on the LCD and think to yourself, “yeah, I like this,” go home, look at your shots on your computer, and realize that you didn’t quite get the angle/composition/shot you really wanted? Yeah, that happened to me with this shot.
